Cal Contra presents a traditional farmer's house with a modern interior decoration in a rustic, simple and functional style. It is distributed on two floors, with all the common spaces on the first floor plus a room adapted for people with reduced mobility, while the rest of the rooms are upstairs. Outside, a wooden roof protects from inclement weather and the strong summer sun, there is a barbecue, table and chairs, where a nice outdoor dining is made. In addition, a wooden fence surrounds an enclosure with stone floor with sun loungers, where the pool is located. From Cal Contra you can visit the center of Gelida and especially the historic medieval castle, which is the architectural jewel of the town. Within walking distance you can visit the most emblematic cellars of the Penedès, as well as wonderful trails and paths. Guests under 25 years old are not permitted.

The Country House Ca l'Emilli is located in Gelida and boasts a beautiful view of the mountain. The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate up to 14 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV as well as a washing machine. Additionally, air conditioning is only available in the living room of the bedrooms. This vacation rental features a private outdoor area with a fenced pool, garden, and barbecue. The country house is a typical farmhouse featuring traditional architecture, recognized as a historical and heritage property. Carefully recovered and restored by the owners, it retains its original charm. Nearby, visitors can explore Castell de Gelida, a medieval fortress from the same era as Ca l'Emili, which dates back to the Romanesque period. Parking is available inside the property. Families with children are welcome. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed. Smoking, bringing unlisted guests, and celebrating events are not allowed. The interior spaces of this property preserve ancient Romanesque elements from the 10th century with stone and cane walls. Please note that there may be government water regulations in force at the time of your visit, which may affect the use of the pool, garden irrigation or limit the use of tap water. The house is independent. Please note that the host resides in another house on the same property/fence. Maximum number of pets: 2.
